Discover PlexyDesk Development
This article is for those who are not familiar with PlexyDesk development, and the aim is to get you started with developing PlexyDesk fast and contributing back to the community.
Code repository:
As the time of writing the source code is maintained at GitHub. The instructions are clearly outlined here and should be easy to start using it, giving you a good knowledge of how to use GIT.
Adding a new Feature:
We would happily grant you commit access if you like to contribute in long term, and you are able to prove that you can code :). If you are just starting out and not up to speed with Qt and PlexyDesk, or you just found a random bug and have a fix, or you would like to add a feature without needing a commit access, we advice you to use our Issue Tracker. Please register there and open an issue or join in an existent Issue, depending on your need and ask for review, and one of our core developers will be happy to look at it and assist you to get the feature/patch landed with upstream source code.
